Recommended Tonneau Cover for a 2017 Honda Ridgeline that Retains All Factory Truck Bed Features

Can you open the in bed trunk all the way? Can you still use the dual action tailgate? Do you need to lose any of the takedown cleats? Does the fit keep water out of the truck bed? In your opinion is this better than the Bak Flip mx4?

The BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK39602 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The durable aluminum slats located underneath the cover makes this cover a favorite among customers.

In regards to fitment on your Ridgeline, the BAK Revolver X2 will not interfere with the dual action tailgate but will limit the access to the trunk in your truck bed to about 75% while the cover is both closed/open. This interference is due to the location of the rails for the tonneau cover and their position in correlation to the lid on the trunk.

The BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK48602 is also a very nicely made cover and will fit your Ridgeline but will have the same issue as the Revolver in not giving you full access to the trunk in your truck bed.

In order to retain full access to the trunk in your truck bed you will want to use a tonneau cover that mounts on top of the trucks bed rails such as the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Hard Tonneau Cover part # EX83590.
