Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2007 Ford Van
Question:
Which Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles fits my 2007 Ford van??? No Splice!!!! I have the Reese baseplate installed but still need brake lights, brakes, breakaway brake system, and battery charger while being towed.

The only wiring kits available for your 2007 Ford van that don't require splicing are universal magnetic lights like the Optronics, part # TL21RK. These plug into the RV's 4-way trailer connector and completely bypass the van's wiring.
It sounds like you already have what you need to connect the van to the RV. However, from my research it sounds like you may also need a drive shaft coupling disconnect in order for the van to be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. I recommend checking the van's owner's manual, or with Ford, for specific information. This isn't something we carry.
For a braking system, the easiest to use is the Stay-IN-Play DUO part # SM99251. Once it's installed all you do is a flip a switch to get it ready to tow.
With magnetic tow lights you probably need a charge line kit for the van's battery. We have both part # RM-156-75 for the RV and part # RM-156-25 for the van.
I've attached some articles on flat towing for you. As well as videos on the products I've recommended.
