The total weight of the Curt Short Arm weight distribution system part # C17322 is 107 lbs, but you have to consider that the frame brackets stay permanently mounted to the trailer as well as the friction sway control unit. Also, the spring bars can detach from the head of the system too which allows you to take the system apart in pieces that are very reasonable in weight.
So each of the bars are going to weigh around 14 lbs, and then the head and shank will weigh right at 40 lbs as they typically stay together. So the most you'd be lifting at one time would be 40 lbs.
