Wiring Harness That Includes Reverse Light Signal for Trailer Coupler Electric Lockout
Question:
I need a harness that will either do the 5 pole wiring or the 7. I could only find this one on your website. I need one that has the reverse light circuit to lock out hydrolock brakes when backing. Thank you. 118650.

You can have a reverse light signal for a trailer's hydraulic coupler lockout in either the 5-pole or 7-way wiring formats.
If a vehicle has a basic 4-pole harness like # 118650 that fits your 2011 Sprinter you can add another circuit for the reverse light signal simply by adding 5-pole adapter # 20036. This wires to the reverse lights to get you the signal you need. Please see the linked videos.
A 7-way has a reverse light signal carried on the center contact as shown in the linked photo. You can convert the above 4-pole to a 7-way using kit # ETBC7.
