Is a Used Reese 30047 Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
I have access to a 2006 30047 hitch that looks to be in very good condition and not used heavily. Is there a lifespan on these hitches ? Is there anything I should be worried about?

Like everything else, fifth wheel hitches do have a lifespan but whether or not the used Reese # RP30047 is still in good shape is going to depend on how it was taken care of. If you were sure it was maintained properly, lubricated at the pivot points between each trip and not misused then it would likely be okay to use. Just be sure to check it thoroughly to make sure there are no parts that are loose or bent and that you can couple and uncouple without issue before using it.
