Where to Connect Blue Wire on 4-Pole to 7-Way Adapter Part # 30717 if Trailer Has No Electric Brakes
Question:
i have a 2001 chevy blazer and it doesnt have a break controller installed and i dont want one so where do i hook the blue break control wire up.

If the trailer you are planning on towing does not have electric brakes, you can simply leave the blue wire on the 4-pole to 7-way Adapter, part # 30717 disconnected. You can bundle it up, and zip tie it up out of the way.
If the trailer does have electric brakes, a brake controller would be needed to actuate them. The blue wire would be extended and ran under the vehicle to the engine compartment, and through the firewall to connect with the blue brake output wire on the brake controller.
