How Does Hopkins 7-Way Backup Camera HM50002 Install on Chevy Silverado
Question:
I would like to know how the 7 way bumper wiring connection for the rear view mirror is made to my existing 7 pin electrical connection. I ordered the Hopkins Smart Hitchinch Camera/Sensor System How do I remove the OEM plug from the backside of the OEM connector on the vehicle? Does this disconnect the existing travel trailer circuits in order to activate the back up camera?

I checked your order notes and it looks like your ordered the # HM50002 today from us. The easiest way for me to show you how this installs on your 2015 Chevy Silverado is to have you check out the install video we did for this camera setup on a similar 2013 Chevy Silverado.
The install video is down below the product links.
