Can a 2011 Nissan Frontier Safely Tow a 35 Foot RV  

Question:

I have a 2011 front tier Nissan v6 Engine i’m looking to buy a 35 foot RV . Will my truck be able to pull a 35 foot RV ?

It all depends on how much your vehicle is rated for towing. I looked up the online version of the owner's manual for your 2011 Nissan Frontier and it looks like the maximum towing capacity ranges from 6,100 lbs - 6,500 lbs. If you check out your version of the owner's manual or the sticker on the inside frame of your driver side door you can then use that to gauge the size trailer you can safely tow.

Please keep in mind that you will want to look at a trailer's GVWR and not the dry weight. Dry weight is when the trailer is empty.

Also, if your trailer weighs more than half of the weight of your Nissan Frontier you will want to use a Weight Distribution (WD) system like part # EQ37100ET. These are specific for how much weight your are dealing with so if you require the use of a WD system let me know and I can make a recommendation.
