Hello - I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with a factory roof rack and cross bars. I am looking at twoThule roof boxes The Force XXL and Motion XT and am wondering if these will fit on the factory cross bars while still allowing me to fully open my rear door. Also, what are the main benefits of the Motion over the Force?

I have a solution for you, but unfortunately, neither the Thule Force XXL or the Thule Motion XT will fit the 2016 Toyota 4Runner equipped with factory crossbars and allow you to operate the rear hatch.

I instead recommend the Thule Sidekick, part # TH78GC, which is an efficient, easy to use box that will fit the factory bars.
