Recommended Performance Tuner for a 2014 Ram 3500 with the 6.7L I6 Cummins Engine
Question:
I have a 2014 Ram 3500 MegaCab Limited with Aisin Transmission I am looking to improve performance with following: More HP and more torque when I need it as well as getting way better milage when I am empty. My son as 2004 RAM with 5.9 Cummins and gets 1,250 km on a stock fuel tank on the highway through the mountains between Alberta and BC. I am lucky if I can get 500km on my tank. Which tuner Edge CS2 or Bully Dog GT or other do you recommend? Will I need to do ANY modifications to the truck i.e. EGR, change air intake, remove catalytic converter or change exhaust pipe?

As far as fuel efficiency goes, your best option would indeed be a performance tuner such as the Edge Juice with Attitude CTS2 Performance Tuner part # EP31507. The CTS2 Performance Tuner is one of the most innovative tuners they make for the 6.7L I6 engine in your 2014 Ram 3500. According to Edge, this tuner can offer you with increases in both horsepower and torque up to 80HP and 200TQ. They also stated that you can expect an increase in fuel economy anywhere from 3-5 MPG's depending on driving methods. For a clean look and easy access to the tuner, the Custom Dash Pod for Edge Monitors part # EP38405 would be a direct fit.
