Is the Convert-A-Ball Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 Compatible with a 2015 Ford F-250 with Towing Package
Question:
Can I use this with a 2015 f-250 factory installed gooseneck ball

Expert Reply:
The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 that you referenced is not recommended to be used with the factory installed towing prep package on your 2015 Ford F-250.
What I recommend doing is using a 5th wheel hitch that is compatible with your factory prep package.
If you have an 8 foot bed the I recommend going with the Reese M5 # RP30928 and the Rail Adapter # RP30156. For a more cost-effective option you could use the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Ford OEM Legs # C16034 instead.
Should you have the 6-3/4 foot bed then we recommend going with a sliding 5th wheel hitch. I recommend the sliding Curt A20 # C16541 along with the Rail Adapter # RP30156. For a more cost-effective option you could use the Curt Q24 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package # C16545-16020.
