Are Heater Pads Self-regulating or is a Thermostat Needed?

Question:

I was told your #277-000164 are thermostat controlled, automatically coming on at 45 degrees Fahrenheit and off at 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Are the smaller #277-000161 and #277-000162 also thermostat controlled the same way? Is the thermostat built-in or an external unit separate part to buy?

The smaller Therma Heat heater pads # 277-000161 and # 277-000162 are not thermostatically controlled. Instead, you would need to use a rocker switch # PK34310 between the battery and pads to turn them on and off. I've added links to video reviews of these products for you to take a look at.
