Easy, No-Hassle Hitch and Bike Rack Combination for a 2010 Chevrolet Impala
Question:
I have a 2010 Chevrolet Impala LT. I am looking for a hitch setup that will accommodate a bike rack. Does this model require any special bracing like your notes say for the Curt model?

No, the manufacturer of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 36407, for the 2010 Chevrolet Impala does not require the use of a stabilizing strap, part # 18050, for carrying a bike rack and bikes within the capacity of the hitch and vehicle. I have added a link to instructions for you to review.
For a bike rack, I would recommend the Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Rack, # Y02445. This rack is the one most often purchased by our customers who own the Chevrolet Impala. We have a video review of this rack for you to check out.
Another Rack that is one of our best sellers is the Swagman XC 2 Bike Carrier, item # S64650. This bike rack is very stable and is economically priced. We also have a review of this rack, see link.
