The ideal position for a transmission cooler like the Derale Transmission Cooler # D13503 referenced in your question is between the vehicle's grille and AC condenser core, as this allows for the most airflow. With that being said, if you do not have the needed space available in this position, it can certainly be mounted in front of the radiator, behind the condenser.
This tube-fin cooler and fan kit will provide additional cooling to protect your tranmission and improve its performance. The unit measures 11 inches wide, 8-3/4 inches tall, and 7/8 inches deep. It includes the transmission cooler, hose clamps, and nylon nuts and mounting bolts.
