Recommended Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin for Curt Extender on 1-1/4 Inch Receiver

Hey dudes, I bought a Curt 45789 for a 1.25inch hitch. Its similar to this 2inch model. Im looking for a stabilizer pin for it, preferably locking. Its a larger hole than the Thule locking stabilizer pin. Hope you can help! Thanks!

For your 1-1/4 inch Curt extender like the 2 inch version # C45791, I recommend looking at our etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98879. This hitch lock is designed for 1-1/4 inch receivers and will fit the 1/2 inch pin hole diameter that is on your Curt extender. It features a chrome plating that will resist ruse and 2 keys are included. It has an inside pin length of 2-1/8 inches.

Since the shank of your Curt extender is not hollow, we do not currently have a locking anti-rattle pin that will work on your 1-1/4 inch receiver. For a standard anti-ratttle device, I recommend adding the Roadmaster Quiet HItch # RM-061-125. This hitch immobilizer will keep the extender or other accessories stable by sliding over the shank of the accessory and hooking the U-bolt around the collor of the hitch receiver. Just note that the hitch receiver on your vehicle must have a ring or collar around it for this to attach properly.
