Question:
Do you recommend a tow hook to use with this strap?

Expert Reply:
The Erickson Recovery Strap w/ Reinforced Loop Ends # EM59500 referenced in your question is an extremely durable recovery strap with a maximum vehicle weight capacity of 9,000 pounds and a maximum load (break strength) of 18,000 pounds. It works very well with a hook like the Erickson Bolt-On Tow Hook with Keeper # EM59505. This bolt on hook can be used for a variety of industrial or recreational purposes and has a weight capacity of 10,000 pounds.
I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on both of these products that you can also take a look at.
