Replacement Steps for Bigfoot Truck Camper on Ford F-350

Question:

I have a Bigfoot truck camper with a basement, its on a Ford F350 4x4, the current stairs are mounted about 48 inches high. They are wobbly and do not align to level when you extend the steps. They are also narrow. Below the current mounting bracket is the external door for the basement. The camper is a Model C10.6 with basement. Love our setup, everything about it except the steps. My truck has all the Torque Lift suspension mods with airbags, Torque lift tie down/fastgun system. We hate our stairs...wife needs something more stable. Suggestions?

We can set you up with new steps so that you love your whole camper setup, steps included. Based on the information you provided, I recommend taking a look at the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS25. This is a 5-step assembly that can expand to between 40" and 48" and have a 24" width, which is the widest size available. These steps have a non-slip tread and self-adjust for stability. There is a handrail # AHR5 available for additional support.

The same steps are available in a 4-step assembly # AS24 that expand from between 31" and 39" and the handrail for these steps is # AHR4. I've attached links to video reviews of each of these products for you to take a look at, and added photos showing how these steps look when mounted on a truck camper.
