Do I Need To Remove Factory Spare Tire To Install Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 41920 On 2000 Ford F-150
Question:
I was wondering is it possible to install this hitch and still keep the stock spare tire carrier and tire under the truck? I was under the impression that class 4 hitches made the stock setup unusable.

I contacted our representative at Draw-Tite about the installation details of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 41920, on your 2000 Ford F-150. He informed me that the spare tire on some models may need to be loosened to install the hitch but you will be able to keep your factory spare tire mounted to the truck.
I have linked a video installation and instructions for the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 41920.
