Is there a Brake Controller that Fits in the Dash Pocket on a 2015 Chevy Silverado

Question:

If you were to use the PowerTrac # 39523 it does have all of its controls at the front where they would be accessible. Since this is a time delay control it doesn't have to be mounted in any specific orientation. This controller is 3 inches wide, 5 inches long, and 1-1/4 inches tall. If you can tell me the amount of space in the pocket on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 I can determine if something else might work better. In addition to the brake controller the only other part you will need is wiring harness # 3016 to plug the controller into the truck. I linked a video showing how this harness installs on a similar truck that takes the same harness.

So the PowerTrac # 39523 would either just barely fit or just barely not fit. How about something a little different such as the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # 331-EBRH-ACCV2. With it you can mount the box part anywhere out of the way. The controller part is just the knob/switch that you can install just about anywhere and it will look OEM when used with the mounting panel # 331-TPSI-001. The only other part you will need is # 3016-S. This harness has one end that plugs into the truck and bare wires on the other end that will match up color for color on the harness that comes with the Tow-Pro brake controller.
