Recommended Cargo Net for Use Inside Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box TH6299B
Question:
Can you recommend a good cargo net for Thule Motion XT XXL?

Thule's 22-cubic-foot Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629906 is an excellent choice for a large capacity rooftop cargo carrier that can provide much better protection for your belongings than an open metal basket type carrier.
The Motion XT includes 3 load-stabilizing straps as well as 6 anchor points within its interior that allow you to selectively secure certain cargo items into certain specific spots. The anchor points are shown in the linked video at about the 3:40-minute mark.
Although cargo nets are not generally supplied with boxes like this they absolutely can make some cargo items easier to manage; things like bulky blankets or sleeping bags, for instance, might be kept conveniently in one spot to give you full access to other cargo items to which you more often need access.
We carry quite a few different cargo net products as well as all sorts of bungee cord straps that do often help keep cargo organized, and keep it where you put it. The cargo net I recommend happens to be the least costly option, the Curt # C18202. This net is also small enough that you might be able to usefully use more than one. It really depends on the specific cargo items. This net measures 43 x 24 unstretched. You can see every cargo net option by entering 'cargo net' into our search box.
You might also want to consider the Telesteps folding step # TE97FR. This compact lightweight folding aluminum step is inexpensive, comes fully assembled and gives you almost a foot of extra reach for easier access to your rooftop cargo. It takes up very little space or weight capacity when stowed. I own one of these and its a handy garage/household item too when you're not using it on your travels.
