Will I need an extender to use a bike rack?

You may need to use an extender with your bike rack if your vehicle has a spare tire and the rack does not extend far enough out to clear it. The Curt Extender # C45796 is 18" long and may work for you, but please remember it will reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by half.
