Hitch Lock Recommendation for Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit # AM3410
Question:
can you use standard locking pins (i.e. reese or master) or do you have to use the andersen? the anderson locks are pretty expensive.

Expert Reply:
The Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit # AM3410 has a non-threaded hitch pin so a standard locking hitch pin like the part # C23519 could work.
The Andersen locks part # AM3492 include a lock for the ball mount platform and the shank of the ball mount so this is a great solution as well.
