Tire Chain Recommendation for 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with Tire Size 235/65-17
Question:
2011 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS w/ AWD Looking primarily to use them to get up the very steep long driveway of our lake house property upstate NY, which last year just a couple of inches of snow kept us from getting up to the house. A friend said that with the AWD, the fact that were not using them for long distance driving maybe 8 miles to the highway if needed with unplowed side roads, we might only need it on the front tires. Whats your opinion? Also reading the reviews, some suggest to get the rubber chain adjusters. Again, what do you think with me size tires - 235/65-17? Thanks

For your tire size of 235/65-17 the Titan chains part # TC2811CAM are a confirmed fit and will give you great traction. These are V-bar chains which are geared more for breaking up ice than deep snow but will still work great.
The part # TC2211CAM is a twist link style chain that will do better for snow and will give you a smoother ride quality. I would go with a set of rubber adjusters though to make your life a bit easier. This makes tensioning the chains quite a bit quicker and simpler. For that the part # TCMA2 would be your best choice.
