Question:

Just buying a small rv with unladen weight of 3200lbs. I have a 2012 nissan frontier 4 x 2 with 6 cylinder and factor hitch and plug. Need suggestions for brake controller, weight distribution hitch and stabilizer jacks I can attach to shasta oasis rv.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well.

For an install harness needed for this controller to fit a 2012 Nissan Frontier you'd want the part # 3050-P which is a confirmed fit.

Since the way to pick out a weight distribution system is based on the loaded tongue weight of the trailer the best setup would be the part # RP66083 which has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and has only sway control on market designed to work to prevent sway before it starts.

The most popular type of stabilizer jack we offer is the scissor jack style like part # UF48-979002. These would work well on your trailer but if you had something else in mind let me know.
