Question:
Is the wiring harnes included with the hatch 24812? Peple mention it in the reviews but it is not stated anywhere in the specification that I can find... Thanks

The trailer wiring harness for the 2009 Toyota Matrix, # 118460, does not come with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24812. We include related products on the right side of the page and if you have entered the year, make, and model of the vehicle in our fit guide to look at hitches, the correct wiring will also appear along with the recommended ball mount and balls, but all items are sold separately unless indicated on the product page.
The recommended ball mount is # 3593 and you can use pin and clip # PC2. For a hitch ball, you can use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). The trailer wiring is of course the # 118460 I mentioned, and I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation. I have also linked the installation instructions and a video for the trailer hitch.
