For your 1400 lb tongue weight on your 3 axle Venture boat trailer, I recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution w Sway Control - Trunnion Bar - 17,000 lbs GTW, 1,700 lbs TW # RP66075. This weight distribution hitch will require a separate 2-1/2 inch shank like the Reese Titan Weight Dist Shank # RP54976 or # RP54977 for a deeper drop.

Your truck is rated for up to 13,200 lbs towing according to Ford, so it can handle this towing capacity.

If you truck has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, then I recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution w Sway Control - Trunnion Bar - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # RP66130 which will put you at the top of your capacity and will only allow you to load up to 100 lbs behind the rear axle of your truck before completely maxing out your system. This system can use # RP54970 or # RP63971.

The 450 lb tongue weight makes a little more sense with the 3 axle trailer and the Reese system previously recommended will not work with surge brakes. For your 450 lb tongue weight, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW # EQ37060ET. This weight distribution system will work well with your surge brakes and will work well for your 450 lb tongue weight. Just remember that the total tongue weight for this system is 600 lbs max and any cargo behind the rear axle of your truck counts toward that tongue weight. There is not an Equal-I-zer system compatible with just a slightly higher tongue weight, There is a jump to a minimum total tongue weight of 600 lbs with the # EQ37100ET. Let me know if you have further questions. You will want the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 10,000 lbs # EQ91-00-6100 as well as a deep well socket for installation like # ALL643216
