Installation of Trailer Wiring Harness in 2017 Nissan Frontier
Question:
2017 Nissan frontier, no trailer connections. Why do I need to remove front door panel to make some connections? Seems all connections are on the frame back drivers side.

For your 2017 Nissan Frontier, I recommend the Curt Wiring Harness with 4-Way Trailer Connector # C56225. This installation requires a connection at the rear of the truck as well as a connection inside the cab on the passenger's side kick panel, which requires removing a side floor sill but nothing on the door itself.
The front kick panel connection is what activates the rear wiring so that you can connect there without running wires throughout your truck and keep the jumper harness and relays protected from the elements. This harness is an easy installation.
