Length of Thule T2 Classic Bike Rack in 2-Bike Configuration
Question:
We live in a city where parking can be difficult, and we will normally be using this in 2 bike configuration, with occasional 4 bike config. Does switching it to the 2 bike config make the rack shorter? If so do you have photos of it in use?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the 2-bike configuration of the Thule T2 Pro XTR, # TH69TX, will look just like # TH83JV. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the rack in 2-bike mode (when ready to load bikes or with bikes loaded) is 41-1/2 inches. I have included a video showing the 2-bike configuration as well.
