Snow Chain Recommendation for 2016 Toyota Tundra with Tire Size 275/70R18

Question:

Are there any clearance issues putting chains on the rear wheels of a 2016 Toyota Tundra? I have sized up the tires and am running 275/70R-18 tires. Thanks

The final authority on tire chains for a vehicle is the owners manual. I checked the online copy of the manual for your 2016 Toyota Tundra and it states you can use chains but the side chain thickness has to be less than 5 mm and the section that goes above the tire has to be less than 6.3 mm.

So for your tire size of 275/70-18 you'd want to go with a cable set like the Glacier V-Trac part # PW3029C which would give you the needed clearance.
