We offer both beam-type axle kits with electric drum brakes, like the 3500-lb-rated Dexter kit # 35545E-ST-89, as well as the innovative Timbren axle-less trailer suspension kits like # A35RS545E with straight spindles and # A35RD545E with 4-inch-drop spindles that allow for a lower trailer deck height. Links to both types of kit are provided for you.
The Timbren systems offer the advantages of providing an independent suspension for each side of the trailer and of providing much better ground clearance since there is no axle beam nor leaf springs under the trailer. The Timbren kits can be welded or bolted on which makes them truly flexible for many applications.
Timbren systems, like beam axles, can be used in a tandem configuration. Timbrens cannot be used for triple-axle trailers.
We do offer trailer brakes rated for higher axle capacities than 3500-lbs but not as part of a complete axle system due to shipping size/weight restrictions.
