I want to purchase the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs Item # TH859XT for my 2014 jeep patriot but do not have cross bars. Which cross bars do I need to by with this basket?

The Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs Item # TH859XT is designed to work with most crossbars. The crossbars I recommend for your 2014 Jeep Patriot are the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars # MPG215. These bars are 3 inch by 1 inch and include the aerodynamic bar shape that will work great with your Thule basket. This combination will work very well for you and will give you a 147 lb capacity in your basket once you account for the load capacity of the bars and subtract the basket weight from that capacity.
