What is Recommended Trailer Tire Pressure

Question:

I keep seeing advice to always inflate trailer tires to the maximum and when cold. So what happens when the tire gets warmer? Now the pressure will EXCEED the maximum recommended pressure. I think the pressure depends on the load and probably a little less than maximum.

The tire manufacturers state to fill the tires to their max pressure when cold and whatever pressure increase that happens as they warm up is perfectly fine and acceptable.

If you inflate them to less than the max rating the capacity of the tire is diminished and it's going to heat up due to the sidewall flexing which will cause them to fail prematurely.
