Hitch Extenders and Extra Long Ball Mounts for 2-Inch Hitches

Hi, I have a Reese Towpower 21794 Class III Interlock Ball Mount, and I want to put and adapter to do it 3” longer. Which adspter tdo you have ?

We do offer hitch adapters, reducers and extenders for 2-inch hitches that are displayed on the linked page. We do not have one that adds only 3-inches but the Brophy extender # HE06 will fit a 2-inch hitch and provide 7-inches of additional clearance between the vehicle and trailer.

This extension is rated for 3500-lbs but note that use of an extender causes your hitch to lose half of its tongue weight capacity. The loss of hitch capacity is a result of the load be further away from the hitch tube, where it exerts more leverage on the hitch.

If you need more space between the vehicle and trailer for towing then a better solution is to use a longer ball mount. This will NOT cause you to lose hitch capacity. Ball mounts that are extra long are linked for you, such as # BM20, which is over 13-inches long.
