Available Wiring Adapters to Provide Both 7-Way and 4-Pole Connectors  

Question:

I have a 2008 tacoma I need a 7-4 pin plug in adapter will the HM40975 work?If not can you tell me the right one? I want it in the HM40975 configuration. thanks

Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 is a replacement trailer connector that has both 4-pole flat and 7-way blade style connectors. It installs on a round U.S. Car Connector type plug. This is not an adapter that converts one wiring format to another.

If you want an adapter that plugs in to a 4-pole and provides both 4-pole and 7-way connectivity then you can use part # 37185 or # C57674. This will plug in to your 4-pole wiring and provide those lighting signals in both the 4-pole and 7-way connector formats. Both include a mounting bracket.

If you have a 7-way socket and want to adapt it to provide both 4-pole and 7-way connectors then you can use part # HM47570.
