Recommended 5th Wheel Trailer HItch with Under-Bed Rail Kit for 2013 Ram 2500
Question:
I have a 2013 Ram 2500 - 8foot bed truck. I would like to utilize the under bed rail mount system. I would also like to use a double jaw hitch. The min rating I need is 16K. Do I have options for hitches using the recommended under rail kit on your website Reese RP30074? If so what are they ?

For your 2013 Ram 2500 with an 8 foot bed, I recommend looking at the Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30921, along with the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30074 that you mentioned.
This system will give you a gross towing weight of 20,000 pounds and allow for uninhibited use of your truck bed when the hitch is removed. This hitch features a forged, single-piece self-latching jaw that is actually an upgrade over the double jaw design. This will provide superior jaw-to-king-pin contact for excellent security and minimal rattle. There is not a double-jaw design hitch available that will fit the Under-Bed Rail Kit. The 9 inch wide funnel will provide a larger area for guiding the king pin into the hitch.
I have attached the written installation details and a video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
