Best Platform Bike Rack to be Used at Rear of Motorhome
Question:
I own a class c 24foot Motorhome. I am looking for the best solution to carry two adult bikes. One mens and one womens. I like the XTC 2-2 rack. Are there any concerns for why it would not be a good choice? If not, what rack would you suggest? Thanks. The picture is the back off the vehicle to be used on....??

The Swagman XTC2 part # S64670 is a great bike rack but it's not rated for use behind an RV like yours so you'd want the Swagman Dispatch part # S44FR which is similar to the XTC but more reinforced for the rougher RV ride quality.
At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use.
