Hitch-Mount Cargo Carrier for Use on Rear Hitch of Camper Trailer
Question:
Is this tray rated for use behind a camper trailer?
asked by: Mitzi L
Expert Reply:
We do have a 2-inch hitch carrier that is suitable for use in the hitch on the rear of your trailer, the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier # H00604. This enclosed carrier offers a 420-lb cargo weight rating, it includes LED lighting for safety on the road (which requires a 4-pole wiring harness) and it includes anti-rattle pins. It slides to give you better access to the vehicle. You can add a lock # ACC3250.
The Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier # M2205 is intended for use in a hitch that is installed on a passenger vehicle but not one installed on the rear of a trailer or other RV.
