Parts Needed to Install Curt Echo Brake Controller on a 2004 Jeep Wrangler  

Question:

I have a jeep wrangler that i need to install a 4 pin connector and then use a converter to connect to the trailer’s 7 pin connector.... and use the echo wireless brake controller... Do I still need to add power and ground and other connections or would the wireless controller take care of all this??

You will need to start with a 4-way on your 2004 Jeep Wrangler. For that you would want the # 118409.

From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the wireless brake controller # C51180. For that you will want the # 37185. You'd just need to complete the black wire of this adapter up to the positive post of the battery with 10 gauge wire part # 10-1-1 and circuit breaker part # 9510. The ground of the # 37185 needs to be completed as well.
