The only option we have for you to haul a bike with your 2004 Nissan 350Z is to use a trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Class I Receiver Hitch part # C11483 and a hitch mounted bike rack like the Thule Camber 2-Bike Rack part # TH9058. This combo will only work with the hardtop models, if you have a convertible model then we do not have an option for you at this time.
I will say that a hitch mounted bike carrier is the most secure way to haul a bike rack because you reduce the risk of the bikes coming into contact with the vehicle. I like the Thule Roadway as this is a very cost effective bike carrier with great features. The Thule carrier has dual arms that offer excellent bike stability and you can add the # THSTL2 to provide bike security.
I have attached a review video of this bike rack for you as well. Don't forget the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap part # 18050 which is recommended by Curt.
