Recommended Replacement for Factory 7-Way on 2010 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma with factory 7 way wiring harness. I utilize the 7 way as I added an electronic break controller. I have a bad wire or connection as some of my trailer lights are not working. I have attached my trailer to another vehicle and works great so assuming the problem is in the truck. Not able to isolate the problem and would like to change out the entire wiring harness for the vehicle. Which product would you recommend?

To replace the factory 7-Way on your 2010 Toyota Tacoma, I recommend the Reese Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 74682. This will serve as a direct replacement and will connect directly to the factory port located under the truck on the driver's side. This particular connector will actually provide both a 7-Way and 4-Flat connector for use with your trailer.
