Adapter to Allow Towing 5th Wheel Trailers with Multiple Trucks That Have Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I want a 5th wheel hitch that will mount on a goose neck ball. I have a 2015 Ram 3500 long bed with a factory installed under bed mount. I want it to mount to the goose neck ball so that I can use it on any truck with that mount. What is available?

We have direct-fit 5th wheel hitches like the B&W Companion # BWRVK3600 that drop into the factory pucks of your 2015 Ram 3500 but since you want something to use on multiple trucks you will instead need an adapter.
Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 is rated for 24K and attaches between the gooseneck ball in the bed and the 5th wheel king pin. This adapter is designed to be used with standard pin boxes only. Do not use with a cushioned or air ride pin box.
