Availability of a WD System with Short Spring Bars
Question:
1-I have a 20 foot box trailer, with an A-frame design. The toggles location that the chain hooks to force me to have the chain at an angle when I move them up. Do you offer shorter bars? 2-How much pressure should I be feeling when I push those toggles over center? Thanks,

We do offer some Short-Arm Weight Distribution (WD) options from Curt, like part # C17330, which you can filter through on the linked page. All of these options offer spring bars that have a length of 28-5/8 inches.
If you have a Reese WD system then you can use the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems # RP58305 which bolt on to the side of the frame and can accommodate trailer A-Frames that have limited room on the top for a bracket. These will work great with a system like the Reese Strait-Line # RP66083.
There isn't really a pressure gauge when installing a WD system, but it should not be really easy to install the chains. You do want some tension so that the WD can do the job properly.
