Hitch and Extender Recommendation for 2002 Ford F-350 with Truck Bed Camper
Question:
Thanks to you and Jameson for responding to my questions. I (hopefully) have one last question. When I purchase items DT45508 and RP45292, what additional features do you recommend I purchase (such as chains and any stabilizing support)?

We have hitches that will fit your 2002 Ford F-350 but since you have a camper you'll need one that can be used with a hitch extender. For that you'd need the part # DT45508 which is a 2-1/2 inch hitch that would work well with a hitch extender like part # RP45292 to clear past the camper.

Jameson, thanks for the quick reply. My truck currently has the factory supplied towing package so it already has a receiver installed. Will I need to remove the factory one and install the one you suggest or will I only need to purchase the extender?
