Is Manual Override Lever of Controller Supposed to Activate Brake Lights of Tow Vehicle
Question:
Hello, I just installed the Pod Powertrac Brake Controller and adapter I purchased from eTrailer. Plugged into the factory 4wire connector and spliced to a factory supplied blue wire to the connector at the rear. Easy install and looks great. I dont have the trailer here to test it but I have a simple question. When I push the manual slide brake on the controller the brake lights on my vehicle go on. Should this occur? I suspect this is good Thanks for the fast service on my order.

Yes, when you apply the manual override the brake controller # 39523 is designed to activate the stoplights of the vehicle and trailer it is installed in. This allows traffic to behind you to know that you are applying the brakes.
