Comparing the Draw-Tite and Curt Trailer Hitch Options for a 2013 Audi Q7
Question:
Looking for a trailer hitch for my 2013 Audi Q7. I like that the Curt is made in the USA, but the Draw Tite has better specs. Any advise between the two? Thanks.

When comparing the Draw-Tite # 75950 and Curt # 13220 trailer hitch options for your 2013 Audi Q7 I recommend going with the Draw-Tite option. The reason being that per the Curt warranty a Support Strap # 18050 must be used for any non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier. The Draw-Tite option does not have the same requirements.
Even though the Draw-Tite has higher weight capacities you will still want to check your owner's manual for the weight capacities of your Q7. When I checked online it looks like it has a max tow weight rating of 5,500 lbs which would make it the limiting factor for towing.
If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make some recommendations for you.
Installation instructions have been linked for you to reference.
