Weight Distribution System for 2012 Ford F-150 Hauling V-Nose Trailer
Question:
Hello, We have 2018 Look Element enclosed trailer. Im using 2012 F-150 for towing. I want to add WDH but since the trailer is V-nose there is not much room for the system to be mounted on it. What do you recommend? Tongue weight is just under 800 LBS and I have lots of sway. I can move weight to the rear to make tongue less but seems like sway is much bigger then. Thanks

There is a solution for you to add a weight distribution hitch to your 2012 Ford F-150 so you can tow your 2018 Look Element v-nose. What you can do is add chain hangers # RP58305 to your weight distribution system to add an attachment point for your spring bars. I recommend the Reese Strait-Line # RP66084, which has a total tongue weight capacity between 700 lbs and 1,200 lbs.
You would need a hitch ball for this system, either # A-90 for a 2" ball or # 19286 for a 2-5/16" ball. I've added links to some video reviews for you to take a look at as well.
