Recommended Locking Hitch Pin and Trailer Wiring Mounting Box for 2016 Sprinter RV

Question:

I have a 2016 Sprinter RV with a factory trailer hitch receiver. I am unable to find a receiver lock that will work. There is a metal wiring box just to the left of receiver that prevents access to the locking mechanism. I tried to work the pin into the box so the locking mechanism is on the right but could not work the pin into the box to allow the pin into the receiver but there is not enough room in the box.

For your 2016 Sprinter RV with factory trailer hitch receiver, I recommend the Hitch Receiver Lock for 2", 2-1/2", and 3" Hitches # FA86-00-3160.

If not, then I recommend removing the wiring box and reattaching it using the 6 and 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Box for Round or Square Tube Hitches # 18159.
