Installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13152 on your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is estimated at about 30 minutes for someone with some mechanical skills. Overall this is a fairly straightforward installation. I've linked an install video and the install details for you.
The wiring harness # C56332 is the correct part for the Sport model if you have the factory tow package. It plugs in to a connector at the rear of your Santa Fe along the frame rail. Then you just need to install the included fuse. You an add a mounting bracket using # 18144 and the no-drill bracket # 18140 for a cleaner look. Videos on the harness and both brackets are also attached.
If you don't have the tow package instead you'll need # 118571 for a wiring harness. The connectors for this one are behind the Santa Fe's tail lights. Then you'll need to run a wire up to the battery inline with the included fuse holder. Another video showing this install is attached.
If you also need a ball mount I recommend our kit, part # 989900. It includes two different ball mounts to help you make sure you have the rise or drop you need, as well as two hitch balls to fit a trailer's coupler.
