Base Plate Kit and Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have been towing a 2003 Tahoe behind my 2012 Jayco Seneca using a Roadmaster 2 all-terrain tow bar. I have found a 2014 Honda CRV that the previous owner had towed and it does have 7 pin connector and the tow attachment. Can I use my existing bar? What else would I need? I could pull everything off the Tahoe before I sell it including Brake Buddy wiring

Expert Reply:
The 2014 Honda CR-V would need the base plate kit part # RM-521567-4 and you'd be able to connect to your Roadmaster tow bar setup. The trailer wiring of the Honda could not be used as tow bar wiring though.
For that instead you'd want the part # HM56304 which plugs in line with your taillight connectors.
