Lighting Kit Recommendation for 2017 Ford Escape Towed on Tow Dolly

Question:

Sorry. I failed to mention that I am using a dolly and not flat towing. I just like to have the rear lights on the toad working while being towed on the dolly. What can you recommend now that I let you know that I'm using a tow dolly?

Your vehicle has no flat towing parts listed as a fit for it. It looks like Ford has decided that you should not flat tow it. Everything I am seeing for it states that it has to be towed on a dolly if it's rear wheel drive or on a trailer if it's AWD.

For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
